Because a new day unlocks every 24 hours, and the clock started when you finished the previous one.
How the timing works
- Days unlock one at a time, 24 hours apart. It is a rolling timer, not midnight in your time zone.
- The next day's card shows how long is left.
- Both of a day's lessons are available as soon as that day unlocks.
Why we do it this way
Spacing is what makes the material stick. A course you finish in one sitting is a course you have read, not learned, and the exercises only work if there is a gap between them. Pacing is the part of the product you cannot get from a PDF.
Can it be unlocked early?
No. Support cannot open a day ahead of its timer, and we do not do it on request — for the reason above rather than as a technical limit.
If the timer looks wrong
If a day says it is locked more than 24 hours after you finished the last one, sign out and back in on that device so the app can re-read your progress from the server. If it still looks wrong, write to support@betterskillai.app with your account email and the day number.
